Qurbani & Zabiha in Makkah

Welcome to the FAQs page for MakkahZabiha, a platform that allows people to perform their Qurbani, Zabiha, Sadaqah, Dam, Aqeeqah, and Fidya online, from anywhere in the world, in the Holy city of Makkah. Below are answers to the questions we're asked most often.

What is Zabiha/Qurbani in Makkah, and why perform it here?

Zabiha (also called Qurbani or Udhiya) is the Islamic act of animal sacrifice. Performing it in Makkah Al-Mukarramah is considered especially meritorious, and the meat is distributed directly to the poor and needy living in and around the Haram — families, refugees, orphans, and low-income workers who benefit most from it reaching them locally.

What types of Zabiha do you offer?

We offer six categories: Sadaqah Zabiha (voluntary charity), Hajj Zabiha/Adahi, Eid Zabiha/Qurbani, Dam (for Hajj or Umrah mistakes), Aqeeqa (for a newborn), and Fidya/Kaffara (for missed fasts or other obligations). You can choose the type that applies to you at checkout.

How do I know my Qurbani or Zabiha was actually completed?

Once your Zabiha, Qurbani, or Sadaqah has been performed in Makkah, you'll receive a confirmation by WhatsApp and email, so you know your sacrifice has been completed and the meat has been distributed.

How much does Qurbani/Zabiha in Makkah cost?

Prices vary by animal and service type. Goat, sheep, and ram options are available, along with camel Zabiha for larger groups or shared sacrifices. Exact current pricing is shown on each product page.

Who receives the meat from my sacrifice?

The meat from your Zabiha or Qurbani is distributed to the poor and needy of Makkah — including local residents, refugees, orphans, elderly people, widows, and low-wage foreign workers living in and around the Haram.

Is the process Shariah-compliant?

Yes. Every Zabiha is performed according to Islamic guidelines — correct intention, a qualified Muslim performing the slaughter, and proper handling throughout. We've overseen this process in Makkah since 2009.
